Simon Says Stamp Monday - Thank You

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Thanks

Cut it Up #343 - Favorite Color (purple)

Just Add Ink #744

Kept this one clean and simple - I blended some Distress Oxide Inks on a small piece of watercolor paper and used a rectangle die to cut it out. I matted it on a plain white cardstock base with foam dimensional tape. I die cut the mushroom from white cardstock and attached that with foam dimensional tape. Finished it off with a "thanks!" sticker. Peace.

Gingerbread Baking

Hello friends! We have some more inspiration for you today at the Polkadoodles challenge blog! One lucky winner will receive a $40 gift card and 2 lucky winners will receive a $10 gift card!  Our theme is always Anything Goes so come play along!

I really enjoyed making this card and I knew what I wanted to do with it the second I saw the Boy Gingerbread Cookie digi! I knew I wanted to use him in coordination with a clear stamp set that I have that includes a mixing bowl and utensils. The papers are from the Christmas Paper Patterns 2 paper pack. I paper pieced the bowl (I love how it looks kind of like an old '60's or '70's pattern), colored the gingerbread boy & utensils with Copics, fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Peace.

Magical Holiday Wishes

Good morning! What a week - I have been running around like a crazy woman and I am looking forward to some down time this weekend!  I'm all ready for Thanksgiving, the 2 oldest granddaughters are sleeping over Tuesday night and they will help me make cranberry sauce, cranberry salsa, Chex mix, and fudge on Wednesday. My daughter will cook the turkey and stuffing & mashed potatoes so I'll just have to bring a few sides like butternut squash (one of my favorites) and brussel sprouts. What are your must-haves at Thanksgiving dinner?  Oh and I also make the world's best gravy, if I do say so myself, so I'll do that when I get to her house!  ;)

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Passion for Markers #815 - Christmas

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock, cut it out and roughed up the edges before attaching with foam dimensional tape. Punkin' Doodle

Hi friends!  It was nice to spend some time in my craft room yesterday. I know Halloween is over but this color combo for Color Dare just screamed for me to use a pumpkin, and I can never have too many Halloween cards anyway so I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

I heavily embossed the entire piece with thick, clear embossing powder. I used a die cut to create the diamond shaped inlays, and layered the top piece on the purple piece. I stamped the bird from Tracey Hey's Birthday Pheasant set with Versafine Black and embossed with a sparkly clear embossing powder again.  Hey all - the Dressy girls have a new release to share with you from

My papers are from Doodlebug Designs. The image I used is called Gingerbread House - I colored with Copics, Stickles, and Fluffy Stuff, then used a postage stamp nesting die to cut it out and mat it on coordinating DP. I added a gingerbread man die cut and a pre-made Christmas sentiment printed on Kraft to finish it off.

In a world full of princesses, be a witch!

Hi friends!  I am SUPER excited to be the guest designer for the Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenge this month! The theme is always Anything Mixed Media Goes - I love creating mixed media projects, it's fun playing with pigment powders and texture pastes and seeing what new things you can come up with! Here's my project:

I created my background by stamping a text background stamp on a portion of the watercolor paper, coming off the edge, with Versafine Clear and embossing with clear embossing powder. I then used Lindy's Magicals, which resisted the text. Next, I applied my Star Dot stencil with yellow ink, then used Lindy's Magicals in Gold with a paint brush and outlined each star and dot. I spritzed Gold Mica Spray Stain over the whole thing.  I stamped the witch from the Hocus Pocus set at Simon Says Stamp with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, fussy cut, and attached her with foam dimensional tape. I added a die cut witch hat and the sentiment with more foam tape and then attached a little pentacle charm with some adhesive dots.  Attached the panel to a navy blue tag and tied some twine through it.

I'd like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Use Some Gold

Tag-along and ATC's - Add Some Texture

Two Old Bats - Anything Halloween Goes

Time Out #301 - Your Favorite Holiday to Celebrate (Halloween)

Thanks for visiting! Peace.

I created my background by applying Versafine Dazzle ink through my Diagonal Stars stencil from the November release at A Colorful Life Designs. I embossed it with gold, then blended red & green Distress Oxide Inks over it and spritzed lightly with water. I printed out the digi Swiss Pixies Santa's Helper from CC Designs and colored her with Copics and Stickles. I fussy cut and attached her with foam dimensional tape. The sentiment is a digi freebie from TLC. Peace.
