Hello everyone! Woke up to a very foggy day - Jeremy and I are driving into San Francisco today to pick up his mom from the airport (she lives about 1/2 hour from us). I like going into San Fran as long as I don't have to be the one driving. LOL We'll probably go out to lunch, which is always nice. I didn't talk to my mom or Jeremy's dad yesterday, but I did talk to my step-dad who said that my mom was taking her pain killers - something she hates to do. So that's good that she's taking them, but bad that she needs them. Please continue to keep them both in your thoughts. Thank you!
Yesterday I took some time and created 2 cards to share today - the first one is for the:
I used an older image from Tiddly Inks, I can no longer find her in the shop but she's saved in my files as "Thank You" - I paper-pieced her clothes and hair ribbons with paper from My Mind's Eye. The rest of her is colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. Sentiment is also from Tiddly Inks. I added some buttons from my stash and a paper flower with a button center to finish it off.
My TIP is this: Treat paper piecing like paper dolls - print your image several times and cut out the various pieces from different prints to mix and match and get a unique look. Scrap pieces of paper are great for this - print your image on a plain piece of paper and then use temporary adhesive to attach small scraps to the parts of the image you want on that particular paper before running it through your printer again.

I'm also entering this one into the:
I used this month's Bobbing for Apples freebie (From the Heart), colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. Paper is from Stampin' Up! and I added some coordinating ribbon tags and buttons. Sentiment is also from Designed2Delight/From the Heart. Peace.
