All Dressed Up Facebook April - It's an Animal Thing!

The Dressy Girls have a new challenge for you at the ADU Facebook Group - the theme for April is

It's an Animal Thing!

I used the adorable Two Little Fairy Mice image, colored with Copics, Stickles, and some Diamond Glaze. I created the background by ink blending Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink through a polkadot stencil on the diagonal, then spritzed with water and did the reverse stencil on the opposite diagonal. I used an arch nesting die from Unity Stamp Co. to cut out the image as well as a panel to mount behind it. I added a little text sticker from a Tim Holtz sticker book and some rhinestone stickers.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Fab n Funky #633 - Four Legged Friends

I Love ProMarkers #604 - Cute & Whimsical

Thanks for visiting! Peace.

Smiling Doesn't Mean I Like You

Good morning! I had a full day of playing with my Ink Road Stamps last week, especially the snarky ones. Let's just say circumstances in my life prompted me to feel the need to spend the day in my craft room, but also to be snarky. LOL Perfect combo! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Retro Rubber #268 - Sketch

My fairy tale girl stamps are from an old set from The Greeting Farm called Signature (around 2009). I stamped them out with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached to the little clipboards from a piece of Doodlebug Designs paper. I stamped the sentiment from Ink Road Stamps on a separate piece of cardstock, trimmed it down, sponged the edges, and attached with foam dots. NOTE: If you like the IRS stamps, make sure you sign up for their emails! They do not keep stamp sets in stock but rather do special releases every few weeks and they ALWAYS sell out. It's actually brilliant the way they do it - they never have stock sitting around collecting dust! Anyway, they have some really fun stamps and stuff! Peace.
