XOXOXO

One more fun one for today - this one was made for the following challenges:

Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #393

Cut it Up #348 - Have a Heart

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Have a Heart

This was simple but fun to make - I love using nontraditional colors for things like this! I used Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White cardstock to create this card completely out of die cuts. I love the little envelope die and the XOXO one - and I have quite a few heart dies in my stash to choose from! I sponged the edges of the heart and the card itself. Peace.

Polkadoodles - Feel Better Soon

Welcome to a new challenge at Polkadoodles!  Our themes are always ANYTHING GOES and you have a chance to win a $20 voucher or one of two $10 vouchers!

I made a "Get Well" card with this absolutely adorable digi, Feel Better Soon Elephant - Too Cute, colored with Copics. I fussy cut and attached him with foam dimensional tape. I created my background by using the reverse stencil technique with a light blue Distress Oxide Ink. I used a die cut to cut the heart shape out, exposing the gray cardstock base. I spritzed it with some silver Mica Spray Stain and added some cute little stickers. I printed the sentiment out and cut it into a strip, adding some light blue rhinestone stickers to it for sparkle.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps #509 - Any Occasion

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Have a Heart

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Peace.

READY!

Squeezing my last card in for the January release at:

You can purchase the Master Creator Bundle for 20% off AND you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off on top of that!

The Falling Dots stencil totally reminded me of old school '80's video games!  LOL

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

As You Like It - Favorite Die and Why (those circle dies - just so versatile!)

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Krafty Chicks #805 - Anything Goes + Twist: Embossing

I applied a light colored pigment ink through the stencil and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then made Pacman out of a circle die by cutting a triangle into it, along with a little ghost die cut I had in my stash. I used some tiny type alpha dies for the text. Peace.

Aquarius - Happy Birthday!

I love making zodiac/astrology cards for birthday cards. This one below is a birthday card that I made for my lifelong friend Tara, I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Beautiful Blossoms - Anything Floral Goes

Dragonfly Dreams - Floral

Make My Monday #270 - Clean and Simple

Addicted to Stamps & More #509 - Any Occasion

Seize the Birthday #319 (AG/no topping)

I don't use embossing folders very often so I decided to bust one out and use it for this card! I printed out the Emmanuelle Colin image (these are over 10 years old and I can no longer find a link to them but there are color books offered here), colored it with Copics and then I used a circle die to trace around the bottom half. I used scissors to cut the circle and then fussy cut the top half with the flowers. I stamped the Aquarius sentiment on a separate die cut circle and attached both with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Tanna - Loved

Good morning! I have a very special card to share today; it's part of an Instagram Blog Hop for a crafty fellow DT member who passed away recently. Tanna loved frogs, Alice in Wonderland, and Christmas! I will be giving away an Oddball Alice in Wonderland stamp from Stamping Bella from the comments on my IG post for the hop - you can find me at @craftywitchyjenn on IG!  Here's my card:

I'm entering this into a few challenges only because that's the only way anyone will actually see this!  LOL  So I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Color Dare #688

Double D - Friends

Try it on Tuesday - Add Some Text

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Time Out #305 - Favorite Card Making Technique (embossing and fussy cutting)

I stamped the Shoot For the Stars background stamp from Funky Fossil with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. I then sprayed some Mica Spray Stain in a green shade in the corners and kind of ink smooshed it down, then let it dry. I printed out the frog princess from Designed2Delight (no longer in business) and colored it with Copics and a gold glitter pen (crown & eyelashes). I fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape. Finished off with a "loved" die cut. Peace.

Happy Spring & I Do

I spent so much time in my craft room last week, I have lots of cards to enter into challenges! I love using challenges for inspiration - I usually sit down and go through my favorite challenge blogs and make a list of the ones I want to do that week. Color challenges are some of my favorites but I also like company specific challenges that force me to pull out neglected stamps! LOL I have 2 cards to share today, the first is for the following challenges:

I Love ProMarkers - Easter/Spring

Love Those Pretty Patterned Papers - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs. Stamps are from Paperie Ink Stamps, stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored them with Copics, fussy cut, and attached inside the die cut frame with foam dimensional tape. I printed out the Happy Spring sentiment from Polkadoodles and attached it through the middle of the frame.

..........................................................................

And this next one is for the following challenges:

Double D - Friends (photo)

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Have a Heart

Triple B - Birds, Butterflies, Blooms

I used a sweet clipart graphic that I had saved for this one, paired with some pretty patterned papers from a very old Valentine pack. I die cut the heart and added the "i do" stickers from a Tim Holtz sticker book. Peace.

Embrace Beautiful Chaos

Good morning! I have a card to share today that turned out to be one of my all-time favorites!  LOL  I have learned that's what really matters - ME being happy with my work. I have come so far since I started crafting, and I'm proud of myself - I don't mind saying that, I work hard! Anyway, I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Have a Heart

Color Dare #688

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Stencils

I Love ProMarkers #599 - Easter/Spring

Cut it Up #348 - My Heart

Alphabet Challenge - T is for Texture

OK this was definitely one of my all-time favorite color combinations from Color Dare!  I actually made 2 cards already, but you'll have to wait to see the 2nd one! LOL  For this one, I had a background in my stash that I made with texture paste, Distress Sprays, and my Double Honeycomb stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I stamped the bee (Visible Image) with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics and die cut. I attached him with foam dimensional tape. I die cut the tag, the Viewfinder, the filmstrip, and the heart. I attached the tag with a very old flower brad from Stampin' Up! I splattered some Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and finished it off with a Tim Holtz sticker sentiment. Peace.

The Paper Shelter - These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Good morning!  We've got another new challenge for you at:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Papercraft Challenge #126 - Anything Goes

I used some DP from Recollections for the background. I printed out Fortune Teller from The Paper Shelter, colored her with Copics and used a stitched edge rectangle die to cut her out. I matted her on the background with foam dimensional tape and added a bunch of little text stickers from a Tim Holtz sticker book, outlining each one with a black pen. Peace.

Be Amazing, Be You

Good morning!  Well, we ended up with a whopping total of 23 inches of snow this weekend! LOL  It was the perfect opportunity to just hang out in my craft room and I got LOTS done! I took a free background class from Tiffany Solorio and I ended up winning a paid class, I'm so excited! I am thinking I'll take the mixed media one, but I haven't decided yet. Her classes are awesome - she's amazingly talented and she has a soothing voice, which absolutely matters when you're listening to someone talk for 4 hours. LOL  You know what I learned in the background class?  That not every card needs to be challenge-worthy! I tend to hoard all of my backgrounds and save them for "the perfect card" but lemme tell ya, taking that restriction off myself while I created really helped! I ended up making 12 cards and a tag! Do I "LOVE" them all?  No. Will I use them all?  Yes!

Anyway, here's one that I feel IS challenge worthy... ;)  I'd like to enter this one into the following challenges:

Inkspirational - Shades of Blue

Color Hues #125

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Stamping Sensations - B is for.... (blue)

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

OK so when I was cataloging my stamp sets the other day, it made me realize how many adorable stamps I have that I have NEVER INKED UP. For shame, for shame! So I kept the Sparkle Big Kit from The Greeting Farm out and played with one of the mermaids. I stamped her with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape to the die cut inlay. I created the background by mixing 2 blue shades of Lindy's Magicals on a piece of watercolor paper. I die cut the seashell and sentiment from plain white cardstock and die cut the sand dollar from a piece of text DP from Unity Stamp Co. Peace.

Manifest that Sh*t

I have one more card today - stepped outside of my comfort zone and made a "clean and simple" style card! I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Make My Monday #270 - CAS

CAS on Friday #326 - Monochrome

I did the reverse stencil technique with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink on a galaxy stencil on a piece of watercolor paper. I then stamped the sentiment & flower (Unity Stamp Co.) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I roughed up the edges and matted it on a purple cardstock base. Peace.

I stamped the images with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I punched a hole at the top and tied some coordinating ribbons through it. Peace.

I used the reverse stencil technique with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink - applied heavily on the Love Waterfall stencil, misted with water and laid on a piece of watercolor paper. I used my heat tool to dry it, then stamped the sentiment (stamps from the Mr Cupid set from Paperie Ink Stamps) directly on it with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped/embossed the pig and clouds, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Added some rhinestone stickers to finish it off.

No More Plants?

Good morning!  My friend Tim is coming over this afternoon to have dinner and wine with my husband and I. Tim has been my best guy friend since I was about 15. We went to our junior prom together... wanna see?  LOL

And this is us recently:

By a random stroke of fate, him and my husband also became good friends. They like to golf and disc golf and I enjoy feeding them when they're done! ;) Tim has been having some health problems lately and had to have a heart procedure last week, so I am extremely grateful that he's feeling well enough to come visit us!!!

.....................................................................

I'd like to enter my card below into the following challenges:

Just Add Ink #777 - Just Add Something Seasonal

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Stencils

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Paper Funday - AG/Optional Sketch

Just Us Girls #807 - Stencil Week

I used the Chaos Squares stencil from the January release at A Colorful Life Designs - you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off! I applied gray Distress Ink through the stencil to create the background. I used die cuts for the window & plant and then stamped the sentiment from Ink Road Stamps with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.

Don't Forget to Fly

Good morning! It's SO COLD - we're supposed to get a blizzard this weekend, but I don't mind. Gives me an excuse to stay home, not that I need one besides the fact that you feel like your face is going to freeze and fall off when you step outside. LOL

I am trying to force Spring with my card making, so here's one for the following challenges:

Triple B - Birds, Blooms, and Butterflies

Passion for Markers #821 - Favorite Colors (purple & teal)

Lil Red Wagon #842 - K is for Keep it Simple

CAS Colours & Sketches #577

Color Dare #687

I used some scrap paper strips in the upper left corner - I knew those scraps would come in handy someday, it really does pay to be a bit of a hoarder! LOL I stamped the moth/butterfly from the Finely Detailed set at Unity Stamp Co. with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional squares. Added the little sticker sentiment from a Tim Holtz book and a few rhinestone stickers for sparkle. Peace.

Love Tag and Something Seasonal

Hello there!  I a couple projects to share today. First up, I have a tag/bookmark that I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Tag-along & ATC's - Love, Romance, or Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Stencils

Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Use Circles

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Spots & Dots

I used a piece of watercolor paper and cut it in half, using a corner rounder punch on the edges. I used the reverse stencil technique with my Bauhaus Circle Mask stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off your entire order!), and then applied some heavier ink in the opposite corners, then sponged black ink around the edges of the whole thing. I stamped the sentiments all over the tag, and stamped the envelope (all stamps from Lili of the Valley) with Versafine Black & embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics & glitter, fussy cut, and attached with foam dots. I die cut some hearts and attached those with foam dots as well. I used a punch and threaded a ribbon through it to finish it off.

.....................

And next is a card that I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

A Place to Start #202601 January - Anything Goes/Optional Rainbows

Dragonfly Dreams January - Floral

I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes/Optional Easter/Spring

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Just Add Ink #777 - Something Seasonal

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs, I used a fun tag die cut attached with a flower brad. I printed out Whatever Blooms from Tiddly Inks (click the link, you can get 3 of these adorable girls for $4.65!), colored her with Copics and a white gel pen and used the Cloud Edger stencil (A Colorful Life Designs - you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off) around her. I cut her out in a rectangle shape and attached with foam strips. Peace.
