Good morning! I can't believe tomorrow is Valentine's Day! Wasn't it just Christmas, like, yesterday? *sigh* My daughter Cass's best friend Missy is flying in tomorrow to stay with us for 11 days - then Cass will be flying back East with her at the end of February. She wants to go back and see about going to college there, instead of here. I'm going to miss her so much, but I want her to be happy - and I think it will be good for both of us. Might force me to actually leave the house every now and then and make some new friends. It would be nice to have a girlfriend here. At the very least, I am working up the courage to drive a couple of hours south to meet a few of my crafting friends! LOL
We have a new challenge for you today at:
Our sponsor is Jellypark this week - I colored my image with Copics and Stampin' Up! markers. I am also entering this into the:

*My TIP is this: ATC's are the perfect size for children's (or anyone's!) Valentine cards. Use the back to write the "to and from" information, omitting the need for an envelope. :)
I'm off to spend the day shopping and going out to lunch with Cass, one last day of just me and my girl hanging out. Man, I'm gonna miss her something fierce, even if it is for the best. I'm so thankful that we've spent so much time together over the past year, and that we are so close. She's growing into such a lovely young woman and I'm so proud of her. Have a great day, everyone. Peace.
I'll be your west coast girlfriend, Jenn! I wish we lived closer, but two hours won't kill us. I can make the drive first, if that helps. Have a great day with your girl.

A lovely Valentine ATC. A great tip too. Thanks for joining Top Tip Tuesday. Elaine
ReplyDeleteYeah, Jenn, what the heck happened to January? And now February is half gone. Bummer!
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet Valentine. The papers & typewriter are so cute & the sentiment is just perfect! Wish we lived closer to each other--you could be my honorary daughter and we could go out to eat and shop and eat and shop, etc. ;^) I understand how hard it will be to let your girl go back East, but it is good that you have a great relationship--that will survive any distance!
Hugs, Penny
Great ATC Jenn! I love that typewriter image. And if you ever fancy a trip to London to stay with one of your crafty friends, you know where I am! Hugs, Marie xx
