I colored with Copics and tied a piece of black twine through it. Peace.

A friend of mine got married recently and used Christmas colors for her wedding.  I used her colors to make her wedding card - I used some papers from Authentique that I've been hoarding. I stamped my image on the kraft with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with Copics. I die cut with the Scallops & Arches Nesting Dies from Unity Stamps and attached it with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

I stamped the stars and bubbles all around him, then stamped the "Sparkle" on a separate piece, cut it out and attached it to the bookmark, then outlined it with more Stickles. I added some gemstone stickers to finish it off.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Hi friends! Another holiday card today - this one is for the following challenges:

Inkspirational - Use Stencils

Die Cut Divas - Christmas/Winter

We Love Stamping - Red & Green

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Dies in Diecember

Crafty Calendar - Winter/Christmas

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - 'Tis the Season

Color Dare #680

I created my background by using a reverse stencil technique with my Mid Century Double Rainbow stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop).  I love reverse stenciling - every time I use a stencil, I spray it with water and take a clean piece of watercolor paper and just lay it down and let it dry.  I am happy with the results about 90% of the time, wicked good odds when it comes to crafting! LOL  I stamped the angel stamp from CC Designs with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, fussy cut her, and attached her with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of previously distressed watercolor paper and used a deckled edge circle die to cut it out.  I sponged the edges of the card with black ink to finish it off. Peace.

Peace is the beauty of life

I wasn't going to put my tree up this year, I just wasn't really feeling it. It's been a very hard year. But the other night I was thinking about how I'm not in the Christmas spirit at all, which is not like me, so I decided to put it up after all.  Once I did it, it really did seem to help. Now I've made plans to go holiday shopping this week so that should help, too. I'm going out with my daughter one day and then a friend another... I am looking forward to it and I've got my lists ready!

So I've got one more holiday card for today - this one is for the following challenges:

AAA Colourful #22

613 Avenue Create - AG/Optional Sparkle & Shine

As You Like It - Gold, Silver, or Glitter - and Why (I think that gold goes really well with holiday cards!)

Let's Craft & Create #226 - AG/Optional Vintage Feel

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

I created my background by blending Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide ink all over a piece of watercolor paper and lightly misting it. I then stamped the postmark images (Unity Stamp Co.) with Versafine clear and embossed with gold embossing powder. I stamped the flower & sentiment from the same set with Candied Apple Oxide ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.

Let it Snow!

I cannot believe I never posted this card last month - it was one of my favorites and somehow it never made it to my blog!  So anyway - this is from the November release at:

This stencil is called Split Snowflake - don't forget you can take 10% off your entire order with code JennFan10 - go grab some new stencils! I created the entire thing by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks in 2 colors through the different parts of the stencil. I misted the lighter blue with water and dabbed with a paper towel. I stamped the sentiment using the same dark blue and added a few little rhinestone stickers to finish it off.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Creative Knockouts - Winter Wonderland

Conjurer of Dreams - Winter Wonderland

Try it on Tuesday - Snowflakes

Inkspirational - Use Stencils (Optional Twist: Add Snowflakes)

Cupcake Inspirations #632 - Let it Snow

Peace.

You are Beautiful

Good morning!  I have another stencil design to show off from a prior release at:

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Winter Related

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes

Let's Craft & Create - Vintage Feel

As You Like It - Gold, Silver, or Glitter - and Why

(I think the gold lends to the vintage feel of this card)

It's hard to see the gold embossed "You are Beautiful" sentiment in the pic, but it shows up much better IRL. I created the background by blending varying shades of brown Distress Oxide Inks on watercolor paper and through my Bare Branches stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I printed out the image from Aurora Wings (Masquerade Owl Mask) on a piece of script DP and colored it with Copics, then attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Gift Bag - Happy, Happy Christmas!

Hello friends! We have some more inspiration for you today at the Polkadoodles challenge blog! One lucky winner will receive a $40 gift card and 2 lucky winners will receive a $10 gift card!  Our theme is always Anything Goes so come play along!

I had a gift bag die cut that I've been intimidated to use, so I busted that out for this one! I used Kraft cardstock as the base to make the gift bag sturdy. I then used papers from the Set 2 Christmas Printable Paper pack and Christmas Paper Patterns 2 to decorate it with. I printed Bella Bear Delivering Gifts, colored with Copics and fussy cut her before attaching her to the gift bag.

I'd like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:

Peace.

The Paper Shelter Birthday Blog Hop - Capricorn

 Good morning friends!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 15th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part, and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is:

CELEBRATIONS

If you've arrived here from Maritza's Art with Paper, Wood, and Thread, then you're heading in the right direction!  If not, then you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

I used Capricorn from the Zodiac line, colored with Copics, a white gel pen, and some Liquid Pearls. I created my background with a mermaid scale stencil and some Distress Oxide Inks. I lightly spritzed it with water and blotted with a paper towel. I added a little sticker sentiment and some pearl stickers to finish it off. Peace.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Granmarget's Cards-n-stuff.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you're having fun along the hop so far!

Holiday Angels

Hi all - we got our first snowfall of the season yesterday, they always screw up the first forecast and I SWEAR it's so everyone will go out and spend all of their money on groceries!  LOL  They claimed we were getting a foot, we got about half that which is very typical for a first snowstorm.  I spent my day in my craft room and then made a yummy breakfast for dinner, one of my favorites - french toast, bacon, eggs - so good.  And I'd like to enter this card I made into the following challenges:

AAA Cards #304 - Sketch

Passion for Markers - Add Some Bling

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Diecember

Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes/Hug in a Mug

Cupcake Inspiration #632 (yes, I live in the USA)

I stamped the cute little angels from Stamping Bella with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I attached them to the die cut DP with foam dimensional tape and arranged the sketch on a piece of holiday script DP from Stampin' Up! Peace.
