CAS Bees

Happy Friday peeps!  I've been spending lots of time in my craft room and it feels so good to be creative and all caught up on DT projects, etc.  Today I have a CAS (clean and simple) card to share, which is not usually my style.  I struggle with keeping things CAS, so this was a true challenge for me.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

AAA Card Challenge - Sketch

613 Avenue - Anything Goes/Optional Twist Winter Holiday

Gem of a Challenge 1 - Anything Goes

Simply Clean & Simple - Anything Goes/Optional Something NEW

I stamped the honeycomb stamp (Visible Image) directly on the white card base, then stamped the bees (Visible Image- Bee Happy set) on scraps of white cardstock, colored with alcohol markers and fussy-cut out, then attached with foam dimensional tape.  Peace.

Life is beautiful...

Hello everyone!  I would like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Something New

Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Beautiful Blossoms Photo Inspiration Board

I created my background by blending Distress Inks on watercolor paper and misting with water, then blotting with a paper towel.  I stamped the butterfly & sentiment from Pink & Main (a new stamp set for my "something new") with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then spot-colored parts of the butterfly with alcohol markers. Peace.

I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer for the January challenge at

I created my background paper by blending several shades of purple Distress Inks onto watercolor paper, then I sponged black ink along the edges. I stamped my stamps from Unity Stamp Co. with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I love the clean, bold look of the black on purple.  Come play along! Peace.
