Embrace Beautiful Chaos

Good morning! I have a card to share today that turned out to be one of my all-time favorites!  LOL  I have learned that's what really matters - ME being happy with my work. I have come so far since I started crafting, and I'm proud of myself - I don't mind saying that, I work hard! Anyway, I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Have a Heart

Color Dare #688

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Stencils

I Love ProMarkers #599 - Easter/Spring

Cut it Up #348 - My Heart

OK this was definitely one of my all-time favorite color combinations from Color Dare!  I actually made 2 cards already, but you'll have to wait to see the 2nd one! LOL  For this one, I had a background in my stash that I made with texture paste, Distress Sprays, and my Double Honeycomb stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I stamped the bee (Visible Image) with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics and die cut. I attached him with foam dimensional tape. I die cut the tag, the Viewfinder, the filmstrip, and the heart. I attached the tag with a very old flower brad from Stampin' Up! I splattered some Black Soot Distress Spray Stain and finished it off with a Tim Holtz sticker sentiment. Peace.

The Paper Shelter - These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Good morning!  We've got another new challenge for you at:

The Paper Shelter - These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

You can always go with an Anything Goes option but coming up with a few of my favorite things was easy!

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Papercraft Challenge #126 - Anything Goes

Inkspirational - Shades of Blue

I used some DP from Recollections for the background. I printed out Fortune Teller from The Paper Shelter, colored her with Copics and used a stitched edge rectangle die to cut her out. I matted her on the background with foam dimensional tape and added a bunch of little text stickers from a Tim Holtz sticker book, outlining each one with a black pen. Peace.

Be Amazing, Be You

Good morning!  Well, we ended up with a whopping total of 23 inches of snow this weekend! LOL  It was the perfect opportunity to just hang out in my craft room and I got LOTS done! I took a free background class from Tiffany Solorio and I ended up winning a paid class, I'm so excited! I am thinking I'll take the mixed media one, but I haven't decided yet. Her classes are awesome - she's amazingly talented and she has a soothing voice, which absolutely matters when you're listening to someone talk for 4 hours. LOL  You know what I learned in the background class?  That not every card needs to be challenge-worthy! I tend to hoard all of my backgrounds and save them for "the perfect card" but lemme tell ya, taking that restriction off myself while I created really helped! I ended up making 12 cards and a tag! Do I "LOVE" them all?  No. Will I use them all?  Yes!

Anyway, here's one that I feel IS challenge worthy... ;)  I'd like to enter this one into the following challenges:

Inkspirational - Shades of Blue

Color Hues #125

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Stamping Sensations - B is for.... (blue)

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

OK so when I was cataloging my stamp sets the other day, it made me realize how many adorable stamps I have that I have NEVER INKED UP. For shame, for shame! So I kept the Sparkle Big Kit from The Greeting Farm out and played with one of the mermaids. I stamped her with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape to the die cut inlay. I created the background by mixing 2 blue shades of Lindy's Magicals on a piece of watercolor paper. I die cut the seashell and sentiment from plain white cardstock and die cut the sand dollar from a piece of text DP from Unity Stamp Co. Peace.

Manifest that Sh*t

I have one more card today - stepped outside of my comfort zone and made a "clean and simple" style card! I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Make My Monday #270 - CAS

CAS on Friday #326 - Monochrome

I did the reverse stencil technique with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink on a galaxy stencil on a piece of watercolor paper. I then stamped the sentiment & flower (Unity Stamp Co.) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I roughed up the edges and matted it on a purple cardstock base. Peace.

Raven Tag

I totally forgot to post this tag I made for the SSS Monday challenge earlier in the week!  So I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

SSS Monday: Things with Wings

Tag-alongs & ATC's: Love, Romance, or Anything Goes

Papercraft Challenge: Anything Goes

Fab n Funky #629: Going Round in Circles

I used stamps from Globeland on a tag that I made from watercolor paper. I started by spraying the tag with a Gray Distress Oxide Ink, then I sprayed gold Mica Spray Stain on it. I stamped the images with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I punched a hole at the top and tied some coordinating ribbons through it. Peace.

I Aim to be Forever Yours

Good morning!  I've got another project using one of the stencils from the January release at:

You can purchase bundles for 20% off AND you can use my code JennFan10 for an additional 10% off - here's the link!

I used the reverse stencil technique with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink - applied heavily on the Love Waterfall stencil, misted with water and laid on a piece of watercolor paper. I used my heat tool to dry it, then stamped the sentiment (stamps from the Mr Cupid set from Paperie Ink Stamps) directly on it with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped/embossed the pig and clouds, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Added some rhinestone stickers to finish it off.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Anything With 4 Legs

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Things with Wings

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Stencils

Let's Craft & Create #227 - AG + Something New

Just Us Girls #807 - Stencil Week

Peace.
