Dashing Through the Snow

Hello all - are you enjoying the days lasting a tiny bit longer yet? I just noticed it about a week ago - it was almost 5:00 p.m. and not pitch black yet!  Nice! LOL I'm looking forward to Spring - I definitely get a touch of seasonal depression and the sunshine and open windows really helps clear that up! For now, it's still cold and snowy here in New England, so this card totally works! I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Colorful Options - Mood Board or Rainbow

Make My Monday #269 - Use Patterned Paper

The Four Seasons - Winter

Try it on Tuesday - It's Cold Outside

CC Designs January FB Challenge - Winter Wonderland

Paper is a digi paper from Polkadoodles. I printed out Swiss Pixies Nora (old digi stamp) from CC Designs and colored her with Copics and Stickles. I fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder on the snowflake tag die, then attached it with a snowflake brad. I added some snowflake dies cut from a sparkly white cardstock to finish it off. Peace.

The Paper Shelter - Snowy Mood Board

Hello everyone!  The Paper Shelter Design Team has a new challenge for you today!

You can always go with the Anything Goes option, but we have a gorgeous Mood Board for you if you are so inspired:

I used the mood board to create my card:

My papers are from Unity Stamp Co. - I printed out the She Wolf image from The Paper Shelter, colored her with Copics and used a deckled edge circle die to cut her out. I attached the sentiment across the image and added some die cut snowflakes with gemstone centers. I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

A Cut Above - Anything Goes with Die Cuts

Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

The Four Seasons - Winter

Make My Monday #269 - Use Patterned Paper

Try it on Tuesday - It's Cold Outside

Passion for Markers - Favorite Digi or Stamp (this is definitely one of my favorite digis!)

Peace.

Tagalongs & ATC's January - Love & Romance

We Love Stamping - Something New or Anything Goes

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

A Place to Start - Anything Goes/Optional Rainbows

Color Dare #686

I made an ATC with a scrap piece of watercolor paper that I had distressed with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I die cut the hearts - stamped the images from Paperie Ink Stamps with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics - using the Color Dare colors as a guide (light pink for the piggy, a darker pink for his nose, red for the ATC base and the die cut hearts). I fussy cut and attached everything with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

You are Fabulous!

Good morning! I had a productive weekend in my craft room, which is truly like therapy for me. I am so grateful to have such a soothing, productive hobby that I can use to bring some sunshine to other's lives as well! I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

It's hard to leave a card clean and simple! LOL  I lightly sponged some black in on a white card base, then applied Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink through a polka dot stencil. I stamped one of my FAVORITE stamps, the flamingos from Tracey Hey's Flamingle set with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Wish Tag & Yoga Card

Back to Monday! It comes quickly each week, doesn't it? LOL We had our birthday celebration for our oldest granddaughter this past weekend - man, does time fly. I remember watching her be born and it was the most amazing thing I had ever witnessed... now she's turning (gulp!) 7 on Thursday!  She's just as sweet as ever - I'll share the card I made for her on Thursday!

Speaking of birthdays, I have a fun tag to share today for the following challenges:

Color Dare #685 (I used yellow, green, and light blue)

Addicted to Stamps #508 - Birthdays

Creative Knockouts - Celebrations

Passion for Markers #819 - Dies and/or Punches

Cut it Up #347 - Favorite Dies (some of my favorite dies are the text/word ones because they make it easy to make your sentiment pop!)

Inkspirational - Word Prompt: Shiny

I created my tag by cutting a piece of watercolor paper into a tag shape, then I used the ink smooshing technique with yellow, light blue, and green Distress Oxide Inks. I let it all dry, then I added some extra Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink in the corners and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I die cut the "wish" sentiment from a scrap of paper I applied light blue ink to. I stamped the clown from CC Designs with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and Stickles and used some Liquid Diamonds on the  balloon. I fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape, then added some light blue rhinestone stickers to finish it off.

And I also have a card I'd like to enter into the:

Just Us Girls #805- Word Week: Encouragement

See?  That's encouraging! hee hee  I used some designer papers from Simple Stories, digi is from Poppy Lane on Etsy (currently not an active seller), colored with Copics. Peace.

In Your Future, I See Love

I am super excited to announce that my son proposed to his girlfriend around the holidays! They are looking to get married this Summer and I'm considering getting a one-day license so that I can officiate it. Good things happening in 2026, all good things. So, this is the engagement card that I made for them, and I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Color Hues #124

Heart's Quest Celebration of Love #1 - January 2026 (anything goes birthday, engagement, wedding, anniversary, and/or sympathy)

Daisy Chain #103 - Use Dies

Creative Knockouts #562 - Celebrations

I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes/Optional Fairytale

I used the ink smooshing technique for the background, using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I took the same color ink and applied it heavily to another piece of watercolor paper and then die cut the heart and the word LOVE from it. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background, then I stamped the girl (both from the In Your Future set from Pink & Main) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. I added some Liquid Diamond Glaze to the crystal ball for dimension. Peace.

Good morning!!! OK I had so much fun playing with my cover plate dies, I had to enter one final card into the:

I colored with Copics and fussy cut them out, then attached them with foam dimensional tape.  I die cut the words "big hugs" from white cardstock and attached to the center of the card.
