Gingerbread House - New Release at All Dressed Up!

Hey all - the Dressy girls have a new release to share with you from

My papers are from Doodlebug Designs. The image I used is called Gingerbread House - I colored with Copics, Stickles, and Fluffy Stuff, then used a postage stamp nesting die to cut it out and mat it on coordinating DP. I added a gingerbread man die cut and a pre-made Christmas sentiment printed on Kraft to finish it off.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Peace.

In a world full of princesses, be a witch!

Hi friends!  I am SUPER excited to be the guest designer for the Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenge this month! The theme is always Anything Mixed Media Goes - I love creating mixed media projects, it's fun playing with pigment powders and texture pastes and seeing what new things you can come up with! Here's my project:

I created my background by stamping a text background stamp on a portion of the watercolor paper, coming off the edge, with Versafine Clear and embossing with clear embossing powder. I then used Lindy's Magicals, which resisted the text. Next, I applied my Star Dot stencil with yellow ink, then used Lindy's Magicals in Gold with a paint brush and outlined each star and dot. I spritzed Gold Mica Spray Stain over the whole thing.  I stamped the witch from the Hocus Pocus set at Simon Says Stamp with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, fussy cut, and attached her with foam dimensional tape. I added a die cut witch hat and the sentiment with more foam tape and then attached a little pentacle charm with some adhesive dots.  Attached the panel to a navy blue tag and tied some twine through it.

I'd like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Use Some Gold

Tag-along and ATC's - Add Some Texture

Two Old Bats - Anything Halloween Goes

Time Out #301 - Your Favorite Holiday to Celebrate (Halloween)

Thanks for visiting! Peace.

I created my background by applying Versafine Dazzle ink through my Diagonal Stars stencil from the November release at A Colorful Life Designs. I embossed it with gold, then blended red & green Distress Oxide Inks over it and spritzed lightly with water. I printed out the digi Swiss Pixies Santa's Helper from CC Designs and colored her with Copics and Stickles. I fussy cut and attached her with foam dimensional tape. The sentiment is a digi freebie from TLC. Peace.

I created the background by simply misting several different Mica Sprays, Spray Stains, and Distress Oxide Sprays on a piece of watercolor paper. I flicked some black and white ink on it once it dried. I used a Polaroid frame die cut (sentiment stamped on the frame) and a little heart die cut. Stamp is from the Queen of Hearts set from CC Designs, she's one of my favorites. I colored her with Copics and glitter, fussy cut her, and attached her with Foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Happy Holidays

I love making Christmas cards with non-traditional colors. I was a little stumped with this Color Dare challenge combo, and I got the idea when flipping through my die cuts! I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Color Dare #675

Jingle Belles - Dashing Through the Snow

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Add Some Texture

Moving Along with the Times #183 - Winter Wonderland

I first took some watercolor paper and ink smooshed the 3 colors on it. I then die cut the Christmas trees from it. I had some leftover ink on my glass mat, so I sprayed it with water and then smooshed another piece of cardstock all over it, which gave a subtle ink smooshing of the same colors, almost making them look pastel. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background and applied some Fun Flock to the top to look like snow. Peace.

The ADU image I used is called Skater Girl - I colored her with Copics and some Fluffy Stuff and used a square postage stamp edge die cut to cut her out. Papers are from xx and the " ice skating" sentiment was fussy cut from one of the pieces of DP. I added some snowflake brads and a clear sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers. Peace.

Treat Yourself to Something Sweet

I hope you all had a happy Hallloween/Samhein celebration!  My amazing daughter made her 3 littles K-Pop Demon Hunter costumes and they were just absolutely adorable, they had so much fun - see how fierce they are?  LOL

Just Add Ink #772

(I used all the colors)

Classic Design Challenge #10 - Anything Goes/Optional Autumn Splendor

Color Dare #676

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Try a Sketch on Tuesday #682

I created my background by blending Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink on a piece of watercolor paper - I love how adding water to the panel creates different shades of orange with one ink pad. I used Early Espresso and Villainous Potion on another piece of watercolor paper, sprayed with water, blotted with a paper towel, and die cut with a deckled edge circle die. I used a cauldron & bone die cut along with a little digi from A Day for Daisies (the ghost cupcake), colored with Copics and fussy cut. I attached them with foam dimensional tape. Sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso & embossed with clear embossing powder. I tied some twine on it to finish it off. Peace.
