My daughter arrived safely in Boston last night - and promptly called me to tell me she felt sick. Poor baby. Missy's dad picked them up and when they got home, she threw up. She thought it was from reading on the plane, but I think it's a little bit of anxiety, too. I have a feeling she'll be back sooner rather than later, but I do hope she can manage to have some fun while she's there at the very least. I hate to see her go all that way only to make herself a nervous wreck. She's so damn cute. So here's a picture of the 2 of them getting ready to go:
And here's one more with me on the porch:
It's too quiet around here already, lemme tell ya! :) Yup, I miss my girl.
Today I have a card for the:
I placed in the top 3 last week at this challenge, which is always exciting! This is the card I made for Cass to stick in her carry-on bag and open on the plane - her cats are going to be beside themselves when they realize she's not coming back for a while.... LOL Anyway, I used Milly & Lily, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and I outlined the circle with Stickles. I'm not the best at bows, but this one came out OK! DP is from MME and I added a sentiment with my Dymo Caption Maker. Peace.
YOU are so cute!!! What a good Mom, too. Sweet card for your baby. She is lucky to have the freedom to find herself so early in life. Cali will be calling soon, she'll miss you guys and her kitties. I wish her the best of luck back east!
