Wicked Wednesday, JSL Shaving Cream Background, & Twinkle Twinkle

Hi everyone!  Isn't "mojo" a funny thing?  I don't know about  you all, but there are times when I just sit at my little craft table and stare blankly at my desk with no idea of what to do.  But then there are times like this week when I can barely sleep because so many ideas are running through my head!  LOL

As most of you know, I run a challenge blog for ATC's called Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenges.  Today starts our new challenge and even though I'm the one who picks the darn themes, I kinda stumped myself on this one.  LOL  The theme is Pantomime or Express Feelings without Words and our sponsor is The Octopode Factory.  Lily gave us this darling image called Sad Little Pierrot to play with, but I was just clueless on what to do with him.  I was actually worried that I might not be able to come up with anything!

Until 2 nights ago.

I was trying to sleep and suddenly images of Sad Little Pierrot were flying through my head.  ROFL
I started coming up with one idea after another and I ended up creating 4 ATC's with him!  LOL  I'm saving one of them for Saturday's reminder post, so you'll have to settle for these 3 for now.

Heartbroken Pierrot (heart digi stamp from Smudgetastic):

Head on over to the blog to see what the rest of my fabulous DT did with Sad Little Pierrot!

Anyone for Anya - Zebra Stripes

As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for this week's challenge at:

I am also entering this into the:

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - B & W & a Splash of Color

I used a free zebra digi paper I found from Enliven Designs along with Creeper Crew Tuesday and a digi sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs.  I love black and white - you can pair it with any color at all, but I was in a pink mood when I was creating the other day.  I used Dazzling Diamonds glitter on her crown and boots and Pink Sparkle Fluff on her tutu.  I added a pink button and some pink gemstone stickers.  Peace.

Cheerful Stamp Pad & Simon Says Stamp

I had a wonderfully productive day yesterday and cranked out a ton of projects, it's such a good feeling to be ahead a teeny, tiny bit.  :)   Today we have a new challenge for you at:

We are being sponsored by Digi Darla this week, isn't this image sweet?  I paired her with some pretty DP from My Mind's Eye and a sticker from SRM Stickers.

This next card is for the:

I used the Queen of Hearts from Dilly Beans and a sentiment from TLC Creations.  I used some ribbons and gemstone stickers from my stash and kept it all red, white, and blue.
Peace.

HDH MM - Truebie or Not Truebie

Hey there!  How are you all doing on this glorious Sunday?  I have been thinking lately about how blessed I am to have gotten to "know" so many of you wonderful ladies out there in crafting/blog-land.  You really bring a smile to my face with your comments here and on Facebook, etc., and I appreciate you all so much.  Thanks for being you!  :)

I have been having a great time with challenges, my favorite ones being the ones that really and truly challenge me.  That was the case with this week's:

I have never seen the True Blood show on HBO, but it sure sounds good.  LOL  But I couldn't pass up a chance to play along with the Minions this week, despite my ignorance.  So I CASEd my buddy Donna and created this little piece:

I used one of my new images from Tickled Pink, Lil Haunts Vampire Lilith, colored with Prismacolor markers, pencils, and mineral spirits.  I added glitter to her eyes and her drink.  I printed the text out in my word processing program and drew the boxes around the words.
Thanks for being my inspiration, my friend!  :)  xo
Peace.

WW ATC Reminder, Smudgy Antics, Just Some Lines

Happy Saturday, peeps.  We have a reminder post for you over at:

*********************************************************
I was SUPER excited to see that I was the Grand Prize winner of the Skull Appreciation Day blog hop at Smeared & Smudged!!!!  My prize was a $50.00 gift certificate to the Smeared Ink store, which took me about 15 minutes to spend.  hee hee  I would have used one of my new images, but I had already made my card for the:

I used one of the images I got for free a few weeks ago, Temptation, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I printed out "Bite Me", which is one of my favorite sayings, from my word processing program.  Background is black Smooch Spritz and I added a ribbon tag and some red pearl stickers.

One last thing - don't forget to play along with our challenge at:

Have a fabulous weekend! Peace.

Dilly Beans - Purple & Sweet Stampin'

Happy Friday, friends!  We were super busy around my house this week, that it just seemed to fly by!  We have a new challenge for you today over at:

I am also entering this into the:

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Your Favorite Stamp

(ALL of the Dilly Beans images are my favorites! LOL)

I immediately thought of one of my BFF's, Holly.  Holly and I have been friends since we were about 13/14 years old and for as long as I have known her, she's been obsessed with Prince.  She is one of the very few people I spent time with, and who has always been there for me, and I miss her.  So she's getting this card from me.  :)  Anyway, I used "2 hearts girl" and printed out the text in my word processing program, then drew the boxes around the words and fussy-cut them out.  I found the purple rain background by just searching "purple rain wallpaper" on Google - I used this one here.
Have a great weekend!  Peace.

Creative Belli & Truly Scrumptious

Yesterday was a funny day.  I woke up after having a bad dream and it threw my whole day off.  I started to feel sad and really down, and I e-mailed a good friend to vent, which did help.  Then my step-dad called and made me laugh.  Then my daughter did something that made me laugh so hard, I had tears pouring down my face.  And before I knew it, I wasn't feeling bad anymore.  Even though I know how important perspective is, it's not as easy to always look at things with a positive outlook as it is to talk about how you should!  LOL

For today, I have an ATC for the:

I used some scraps of DP from Crate Paper, along with a vellum sentiment I had in my stash.  Brads are from SU!

My next ATC is for the:

I again used scraps of DP from Crate Paper and cut my text out from a quote printed on vellum.  I used punches and my scissors to shape the flower out of DP.
Peace.
