Tiddly Inks Party Puzzler Blog Hop!

What could be more fun than a TIDDLY INKS PARTY PUZZLER BLOG HOP on a Tuesday?  Nothin', that's what.

I simply could not resist buying these adorable Lilli Claire images from Tiddly Inks NEW RELEASES yesterday, and decided to use one of each for the hope - so here are my creations, this first one uses the "Old Book" image along with Lilli Claire - Make a Wish:
This card is much brighter than it photographed - Lilli Claire is covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter, the sunlight seemed to dull the picture.  She's much more vibrant in real life!  :)
I am also entering this card into the:
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Childhood Memories

I colored both images with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and I used the same DP from SU!  Colors are Old Olive, Taken With Teal, and So Saffron.  Cardstock, glitter, punch, rub-on sentiment, brads, embossing powder and ribbon also from SU!  Button is from my stash.
Hope you enjoyed my creations - I certainly enjoyed making them.  :)  Happy Hoppin'!   Peace.

Michelle Perkett & All That Scraps

Today's TUESDAY so that means it's time for another fun challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio - the theme this week is MERMAIDS GALORE!  Don't forget to use an image from Michelle, which you can find here.  Here's my mermaid card for the challenge, which you can also see on the challenge blog:

I used the beautiful Elisa the Queen of the Sea image, along with the shell border image.  I colored with a combination of Prismacolor markers & pencils with mineral spirits.  Glitter, cardstock and DP from SU!  Ribbon is from my stash.
Next up is my card for the:

I used Rainy Day Emma from the All That Scraps digi store, along with a sentiment from By Lori Designs.  I colored with Prismacolor markers, used lots of SU! glitter and scraps of DP from Scrapbook Wizard.  Button & cardstock are from my stash.

Peace.

Congratulations SASKIA - please visit the Tiddly Inks shop and let me know which digital image you'd like and I will have Christy send it along to you.  Thanks for playing along!  :)

I'm not all that great at doing the "vintage" look, but I wanted to play along with the Tiddly Inks challenge this week, so I decided to make a Mother's Day card for Jeremy's cousin Leia, who is celebrating her first Mother's Day as a mommy to baby Elianna.  I made a card for the:

 and

I used the Poppy image and it was really funny - Elianna ended up wearing a dress with poppies on it yesterday at our Mother's Day breakfast - see?

Isn't she precious?  LOVE HER!  :)

Anyway, I printed Poppy out on Kraft cardstock, and colored her with a combination of Prismacolor markers & Prismacolor pencils blended with mineral spirits.  Cardstock, ribbon, rub-on sentiment, glitter and brads all from Stampin' Up!  DP is from Die Cuts With a View.

I had taken a bunch of pictures of Leia's beautiful baby girl, Elianna, on her one-month birthday, which was just a couple of weeks ago, and I had a little 8x10 photo collage made with a few of the best ones and gave that to Leia framed along with this card yesterday.  :)  I LOVE Walgreens photo deals, I ended up getting 4 free 8x10 photo collages this weekend - completely free.  And their frames were on sale buy one, get one half off - so I also got 4 frames for less than $20.00 - not too shabby, eh?

Have a great Monday, friends.  See ya back here tomorrow.  Peace.

Just Some Lines Emo Bride

Happy Mother's Day!  We're off to breakfast at Gram's this morning with Jeremy's family, then home to relax.  I told the kids the only gift I wanted was for them to clean my car for me, so I am crossing my fingers that they believed me.  I really need my car cleaned.  And I'm much too busy makin' cards to do it myself.  HMPH.  ;)  I hope all you mama's have a fabulous day today and get whatever it is that you wanted, even if that just means a big smooch from your kiddos.  :)

Today happens to be my day to post for the Just Some Lines blog, so I decided to make a card that I could also use for a couple of challenges.  Here is my card using the Emo Bride image from Just Some Lines:
I am entering this into the:

I used Stampin' Up! cardstock, glitter and ribbon.  DP is from 7Gypsies (LOVE that stuff...).  The button is from Simon Says Stamp.  I colored the Emo Bride with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  The "love and cherish" sentiment is  a rub-on from SU!

That's all for now!  Peace.  :)

MPS Sale and Delicious Doodles - Fantasy

I woke up to a gorgeous day and feeling especially crafty, so I won't be on the computer much - going to take advantage of the gorgeous sunlight and how creative I feel and spend the day making "stuff".  I want to make a few gifts for the people at Trev's school who have been so good to him - he only has 3 more weeks of school and then he's DONE.  I still can hardly believe it - I'm so proud of him.

I wanted to pop in quick to let you all know that there is a SALE going on in Michelle Perkett's Etsy store - 30% off all digi images, and she has some gorgeous ones to choose from.  AND you still have time to play along in this week's Mother's Day challenge here... your card must be posted by Sunday night.  So get moving!  ;)

And last - I just want to post this card for the:

I used a fairy image, of course, I seem to have a "thing" for fairies and angels.  I used Pixies from Stamping Bella, stamped on Kraft paper and colored with Prismacolor markers.  Kraft & Tempting Turquoise cardstock, as well as glitter and brads, are from Stampin' Up!  Flowers & ribbon are from my stash.  Enjoy the day!
Peace.

D2D - Flutterby Fairy

Busy day today - both kids are getting their teeth cleaned this afternoon, and I have a bunch of errands to run this morning.  I can hardly believe it's already Mother's Day weekend coming up.  We are spending Mother's Day by having breakfast with Jeremy's family, as we always do.  I like doing that, it means I get to have the rest of the day to relax.  And this year will be extra-fun, because Leia & Steve will bring the baby - that reminds me, I should make her a mommy's first Mother's Day card....

OK so for today, I made a card using Designed2Delight's freebie from last week, Flutterby Fairy.  The challenge blog is here if you want to check it out, and here is my card:
I am also entering this into the:

Flutter By Wednesday Challenge - open challenge (must use fairy, angel, or butterfly)

I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils & mineral spirits, and added some glitter.  I used Stampin' Up! cardstock, the black and white DP is from 7Gyspies, the yellow DP is from my stash.  Buttons are also from my stash.  I love how Faith at D2D designs such a wide array of images, everything from cute fairies and kids to pretty flowers and holiday images.  She never disappoints!  :)  Hope you all have a wonderful day.  Peace.
