Hello friends! Heading up to Wachusett Mountain today for Applefest with the family! Always a good time even though it's definitely chilly today! I think the high up the mountain is supposed to be like 55, but I'll be keeping toasty with warm apple cider donuts and hot cider. Yum!!! I'm sure it'll help running around after the kids all day too! LOL
I love the way this card came out below, the colors are some of my favorites to use for Halloween cards. I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - W is for Witches
A Cut Above October - AG with a Die Cut
If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #221 - Come On Get Spooky
I ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks. I then distressed another piece using just Black Soot and die cut the frame from that (Mama Elephant) and attached that with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background, stamped out Elphaba (both from CC Designs) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics, and fussy cut. I attached her with foam tape and added some Stickles to her boots - I've learned to do it this way because I have zero patience and EVERY time I try to add the Stickles first, I forget it's there and ruin it. LOL I added a die cut spiderweb with spider and some rhinestone stickers. Peace.
