We had company this weekend, my friends who live in Maine came to visit and brought me some LOBSTERS! I was so excited - I had a feast of lobster and littleneck clams with a baked potato last night and I'm still dreaming about it. LOL I always get lobster for my birthday - my husband spoils me and does a big pot of them for a few of my friends and always makes sure I have leftovers for a lobster roll the next day. My birthday is August 6, so I'll get to have them again in just 2 months. It's the little things, you know? :)

When I made my first card for the MFT challenge the other day, I had some extra ink on the stencil and decided to do a reverse stencil technique and make another card for that challenge. I used a smaller polka dot stencil to apply the pink & green inks on top of the reverse purple & yellow polka dots. I added some gemstone stickers and a rainbow die cut from the scraps. I stamped the kitty from the Unicorns & Glitter set from My Favorite Things with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment on the background with Distress Oxide Ink in Shaded Lilac and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.
A lovely colourful background for the little Cat, perfect for our theme at Stamping Sensations, thanks so much for joining us.
