Don't Just Fly & Hoeing Ain't Easy

Good morning!  I have been so busy in my craft room, today I have 2 cards to share.  For my first card, I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

Path of Positivity

Critter Crazy - Anything Goes with Featured Critter

Let's Craft & Create #215 - Anything Goes/Optional Cheers to You (Use a Sentiment)

We Love Stamping - Anything Goes/Optional Anything but Square

AAA Card Challenge #281

I'm getting more comfortable with the clean and simple style!  This adorable stamp set is called Oceans to Fly from Colorado Stamp Company.  I stamped the sentiment & bear directly on a white cardstock base. I stamped the plane on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored with alcohol markers, fussy-cut and attached with foam dimensional tape.  I love the way you can see the shadow of the plane!

And this next card is for the following challenges:

Just Us Girls - Die Week

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Something New (the stamp set)

Make My Monday - Favorite Challenge of 2024 (#221 - Spring Flowers)

Colorful Options - Yellow, Purple, and Green

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - N is for NBUS (Never Been Used Stuff)

A Cut Above - Anything Goes

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Retro Sketch #25

I created my background by blending Distress Ink on watercolor paper and then blending a darker shade of Distress Ink through a harlequin stencil.  I used the same darker shade to blend on another piece of watercolor paper and cut a frame out of it.  I used some scraps of previously distressed paper for the die-cut leaves.  I used a circle punch for the yellow circles behind the image. The "Hoeing Ain't Easy" stamp is a new set I got from Ink Road Stamps (currently on hiatus but they WILL be back) that I had not previously used before. Everything was attached using foam dimensional tape. Peace.
