Happy Small Business Saturday! I hope you are supporting your favorite small businesses this holiday season! I know I am! For today, I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges and for The Paper Shelter DT call. The Paper Shelter is one of my favorite digi stamp companies, their images are just so cute and well-drawn, fun to color!
And here are the challenges I'd like to enter:
Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Bells & Baubles
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Include a Sentiment
I created my background by blending Cracked Pistachio & Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on watercolor paper, then sprayed some water on it and dried it. I then spritzed some Mica Spray Stain on it, and dried again. I used the same paper to die cut a waffle die from AlteNew, cut it up a bit and used part on the bottom and part in the upper left corner. I added a sand dollar die, which was also cut from a scrap of previously distressed cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped "what's your sign?" from Mama Elephant in Versafine Black and embossed it with clear embossing powder ("Aquarius" in the upper right corner is from the same set). The image is Aquarius from The Zodiac Collection at The Paper Shelter, colored with alcohol markers and glitter pens - I used some Diamond Stickles to highlight some parts also. Peace.
Hi Jenn
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you entered the challenge and the DT call with this project, but you didn't put 'DT' after your name in the DT call entry so I just wanted to confirm that you did want to enter the DT call. If you can, p-lease pop back to the DT call and add DT after your name. Thanks so much!
OMG thank you so much - I definitely did mean to enter the DT call and I just fixed it! Thank you! :)
