ADFD: Fairy Kitty & Emo Quote

Good morning!  It is so. freaking. cold.  With the wind chill, it's like minus 25 out there.  -25!  I am so glad I don't have to go anywhere today.  I'm thinking it's a good day to do some baking or something... I've been dying to try this recipe I have for homemade peppermint patties.  I'll let you know how they come out and will share the link if they're good!

Today I have a card for the following challenges:

I used the freebie offered by ADFD, Fairy Kitten, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.  Her wings are covered in Stardust Stickles.  Papers & ribbon are from Stampin' Up!  I kept it pretty simple so I could make the 15-minute deadline for the Speed Craft challenge, but I love how it came out.  That kitty is just too cute, isn't he/she???  :)

And I have one more card to enter into the following challenges:

The Stamping Boutique: Hearts
Crafting When We Can: Stitching Real or Faux
Jellypark: Love
Stamping Sensations: Anything Goes
ColourQ: Red, Black, & Newsprint

I used Emo Quote from The Stamping Boutique, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and with some red Stickles added in.  I printed out some newsprint DP and used a stencil on gray cardstock to mat my image on.  Ribbon is from Stampin' Up!  I finished it off with some red gemstone stickers.  Peace.

Oddball Art Stamp Challenge: Love

Hello everyone!  OMG - I am SO freaking sick of snow.  I mean, seriously.  Mercy. We give up.  I think this was the 4th week in a row that we got over a foot of snow.  We're buried.  Can't see around corners to pull out of side streets or driveways, it's awful.  Roofs are collapsing.  Today they are worried about power outages.  OY - I want Spring!

OK enough whining - at least being snowed in gives me a good excuse to craft!  Today we have a new challenge for you at:

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

I used Big Eye Back to School Geek Girl from Oddball Art Stamps, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I kept it simple, layering her on DP and using a piece of the DT as an embellishment.  emrel.  Peace.
