Have a lovely Sunday, I'm spending the day making some projects for SNR and for my new DT position at Just Some Lines.  Peace.

Haunted Design House & Polka Doodles

Yesterday was one of those lazy days, I wasn't feeling that great and spent most of the day on the couch watching movies with the kids... which is nice, because my kids are teenagers and that doesn't happen very often!  I watched Secondhand Lions and Dreamer in the afternoon, cried through both of them.  LOL  Then last night, Jeremy & I watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.  I cannot wait for the 4th one to come out!

Anyway - I have a couple of cards for today.  First, this is for the:
As soon as I saw the theme for this challenge, I knew what I wanted to do - I used Friday from The Greeting Farm and made her into one of the zombies from Michael Jackson's THRILLER... hee hee  You like the blood around her mouth and dripping down her chin? That's right - I can do creepy!  She's still kinda cute, though, isn't she?  HMPH!  ;) Anyway - she's colored with Prismacolors & mineral spirits. The gray ribbon, cardstock & DP is from SU!  The buttons and red & white polka dot ribbon are from my stash.

Next up is a card I made for a new challenge I found, it's called the:
I used Baby Levi from By Lori Designs, colored with a mixture of SU! markers and Prismacolor pencils with mineral spirits.  The (retired) DP and ribbon are from SU!, colors are Sage Shadow & Brocade Blue.
Are you watching American Idol?  Who is your favorite?  My favorite is James, but I think this is a great year and I really like at least 5 more of them! They will all end up successful, I'm sure, they really are a great group and I've enjoyed watching it this season.  Peace.

BLDC12, My Grafico & Card Ideas

Sometimes I find color challenges especially difficult, especially if I don't have any designer paper that perfectly coordinates.  But I love the challenge, and I usually do my best to stick to the colors pretty closely.  For today, I have a card for the:

I used Ella's Umbrella and colored her with Prismacolor markers, I also paper-pieced her boots and part of her umbrella.  I used various DP's.  Glitter and ribbon are from SU! Isn't she precious?

I am also entering this card into the:

My Grafico - Anything Goes

Card Ideas: Delightful Inspiration - Card for a Child
It's funny - a year ago, I only had a few digi images and rarely used them.  Today, I use digis more than rubber!  But there's room in my heart for both of my addictions - it just so happens that digis also save room in my crafting area! One of the things I love about digis is not getting black ink on my fingers - I cannot tell you how annoyed I get when I spend time stamping on my good cardstock, only to realize I got black ink on my finger(s) and smeared it on my images.  GRRRRR!  What do you like about digi images?  Peace.
