Happy Birthday Leo & Ghoul's Night Out!

Good morning! I'd like to enter this card below into the following challenges:

Just Us Girls #788 - Word Week: Birthday

Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Happy Birthday

If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #207 - Happy Birthday

Alphabet Challenge - I is for Ink Blending

Seize the Birthday - No Flowers

I created this one layer card by blending Distress Oxide Ink through my Starry Rays stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop!) on a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the sentiment and the little lion from Mama Elephant with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the lion with Copics and added some flicks of orange ink.

.........................................

And one more for today - this one is for the following challenges:

Sweet November Facebook August - Critters

Halloween & Other Occasions All Year Long - Halloween/Birthday/Family/Romance

Two Old Bats - Anything Halloween Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Passion for Markers Week 802 - Spots and/or Stripes

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs. I die cut the moon and sponged some black ink over it. Printed out Witchwee Night Rider Eunice and Skid from Sweet November Stamps and colored with Copics. I've been working hard at trying to master ink blending with Copics and it's so hard for me to leave "empty" or lighter spaces!  LOL  I'm always so happy with the results when I do it, but it's hard to leave it alone!  I like the way her purple dress & hat came out. Peace.

Picnics and Back to School

Happy Monday! I'd like to enter this card below into the following challenges:

As You See It #354 - Mood Board Theme: Picnics

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #262 (Throwback Sketch)

AllSorts #830 - Something Beginning with "B" (basket)

Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs. I used a decorative edge oval die cut for the center and some gemstone stickers for embellies. The stamp is Little Red Riding Hood from the Signature set from The Greeting Farm (this red rubber set is so old, it doesn't even have a date on it - LOL - I would guess it's from 2008 or 2009?). I colored her with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional dots.

...............................................

I've got another card from the August release of A Colorful Life Designs for today - make sure you use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Tic Tac Toe #277 (I used school theme/free/ink blending or could also be red/stencil/rectangle shape!)

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Trees and/or Leaves

As You Like It - Favorite Season and Why (I love Fall for so many reasons - but the kids going back to school is one of them! Hubby and I enjoy Fall camping trips when the campgrounds are quieter and we can just relax!)

Alphabet Challenge - I is for Ink Blending

Cupcake Inspirations #624- Back to School

I created my background by blending Distress Oxide Inks through my Bauhaus Circle Mask stencil on a piece of designer paper (My Mind's Eye). I then simply used papers from the same pack to add embellishments and die cuts to the card - I added some back-to-school brads (apple, crayon, glasses) from my stash to finish it off. Peace.

Gift Card Holder - Star Student!

Hubby and I are off to a music festival today - I haven't really wanted to do much as far as attending events and stuff like that but it's good for me to get out and have some fun. I get wrapped up in my thoughts and feelings and sometimes it can really bring me down. I miss my sister. She has hurt me so very deeply that I am not even sure I want her back in my life at this point, but I still miss her. Does that even make sense? Life is so weird.

I wanted to squeeze this project in that I made yesterday - I will most likely make 2 more of them and give them to my grandkids for back-to-school! I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Not a Card

AllSorts #830 - Something Beginning with "B" (bus)

Cupcake Inspirations #624 - Back to School

Tic Tac Toe #277 (I used letters, school theme, red)

I created this gift card holder with a gift card holder/envelope die cut set that I have from Stampendous. I used yellow cardstock and designer papers and stickers from Doodlebug Designs. Once I got the hang of that middle piece, assembling it was easy! To be honest, you could actually make the whole thing with just the center piece die cut and your paper trimmer! There were no dimensions given for creating the size of the card, so I ended up making mine a tad too big for the envelope. Next time I'll know better but it still came out cute! Peace.

Hang in There and Relax

Good morning!  Heading off to meet a couple friends at our favorite local brewery today. They have the most delicious buffalo chicken flatbread (pretty much pizza)! I can't believe how fast the Summer is flying by!

I would like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Paper Funday #79 - Anything Goes/Optional 4-Legged Friends

Penny's Paper Crafty - Anything Goes

Crafter's Cafe - Anything Goes/Optional Use Patterned Paper

Craft Rocket - Animals

Inky Paws #243 - Sketch

I used papers from Doodlebug Design along with a piece of brown cardstock that I ran through with a wood-grained embossing folder, then rubbed some darker brown ink over it. I die cut the sun and stamped the sentiment directly on the DP. I stamped the image (Newton Hangs Out) with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape.

.......................................................

One more today - this one is for the following challenges:

Retro Rubber #261 Tic Tac Toe (I used die cut, stripes, ribbon)

Festive Friday #191 - National Beach Day (I used pearls, sun, shells, relax sentiment)

Just Add Ink #764 (I used pearls and patterned paper)

My papers are from Doodlebug Designs. I used several different die cuts and layers of paper. I stamped Mavis Builds a Sandcastle from Stamping Bella (circa 2010) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Thinking of You - Polkadoodles Bee Buzzy Gnome

The Polkadoodles DT has some more inspiration for our current challenge this week - check it out here!

Our theme is always anything goes and you've got a chance at winning one $40 gift certificate to the shop or one of 2 $10 gift certificates!

I love making bee cards and this image was super fun to color! I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Double D - Bee Happy!

We Love Stamping - Anything Goes/Optional Flowers

Crafter's Cafe #322 - Anything Goes/Optional Use Patterned Paper

A Place to Start - Anything Goes: Twist: Summer Things

I created my background by blending Distress Oxide Ink in Black Soot all over a piece of watercolor paper and then ink smooshed it a little with some extra Black Soot. I then blended Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink on another piece of watercolor paper and die cut the honeycomb from it. I cut it into pieces and attached pieces in each corner. I printed out Bee Cute - Bee Buzzy Gnome and colored with Copics and sponged some Stormy Sky Distress Ink around her. Finished it off with a couple of large gemstone stickers.

Sweet & Toxic

I love making tags and bookmarks - I have a whole bin full of them and I will throw them in with birthday or holiday gifts, it's such a great little item that people always ooh and ahh over! I'd like to enter the tag below into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Not a Card

Cut it Up - Add a Sentiment

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes

Crafting a Cut Above - Anything Goes with a Die Cut

Retro Rubber #261 - Tic Tac Toe (I used die cuts, stripes, and washi tape/ribbon)

I created my tag by blending Festive Berries Oxide Ink on watercolor paper, then spraying water on my glass mat and smooshing the watercolor paper into it, then drying with my heat tool. I used a coffin die cut to create the tag, flicked it with black & white ink and attached the die cut spider web and bat to it. I stamped the sentiment directly on the tag - stamped the girl out separately (stamps are from The Greeting Farm Sweet & Toxic red rubber stamp set, circa 2010) and colored her with Copics. I fussy cut her and attached her with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Windy Day Stencil - A Colorful Life Designs

We've got a new stencil to share for our Mid-Month Inspiration at A Colorful Life Designs! You can use code JennFan10 for 10% off your entire order at the shop!  The August release includes this fun Windy Day stencil, which is available for only $4 until August 22!  This stencil can be used for lots of things other than wind! I created 2 fun cards with this stencil - I'd like to share this first one with the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Leaves and/or Trees

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Alphabet C

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Summer Vacation

I applied Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink to a piece of watercolor paper, then applied the stencil with a darker shade of blue. I printed out the whale and the "Get Whale Soon" and attached the whale with foam dimensional tape.  I stamped the bubbles from one of my mermaid sets from The Greeting Farm.

And I'd like to share this next one with the following challenges:

Little Red Wagon #820 - Get Krafty (use Kraft)

Sisterhood of Crafters - Card of Encouragement

I stamped the sentiment and applied the stencil with black ink directly on the cardstock base. I die cut the kite and attached a black string to it, then adhered to the card with foam dimensional tape. Peace.
