DONE!!!

So holy cow - I cannot believe I actually finished all 24 challenges at The Greeting Farm between the 12 Days of Xmas and the 12 hourly New Year's Day challenges!!! Here are my final 2 cards for the New Year's Day challenges - and they are 2 of my faves!

This one is for Lisa's Bring on the Color challenge, which was to use the colors gray, green, cream, and pink. I stamped Lolli Anya on cream (Very Vanilla) cardstock, as well as the "giggle" sentiment. I used Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Gray, and Designer Series papers, Pretty in Pink & Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon, and pink gemstone brads:

And my big finale was to use Red Riding Hood Anya from the Signature set for the very first time! This card is for Cheryl's Flowers, Ribbons, and Bows challenge. The challenge was to use ribbons and bows in a cute way - and/or to add some flowers, anything to girly it up:
I had a blast making this card, I found some old red and white checked background papers that went PERFECTLY with the look I was trying to go for. Then I found the adorable matching red & white checked brad and instantly knew it would make a perfect accent/anchor for my white flower. I used Real Red as my base, and Basic Black for the circle. I also used some red ribbon to make ribbon tags and attached them with clear-diamond-gemstone brads. I added the black ribbon as the finishing touch.

I hope you have enjoyed following along with me as I completed the challenges. Don't forget to come back tomorrow as I share an exciting announcement with you all and give you a chance to win one of the adorable Greeting Farm digi images. You must be a follower of my blog to win, though, so be sure to click "Follow" so you don't forget! I'll remind you tomorrow, too. :) Have a great night - it's back to work for me tomorrow, which is a bit depressing. I wish I could stay home, make cards, and blog all day, every day. I would never get tired of it!!! But alas, I would not be able to afford my hobby/craft/passion/addiction if not for the J-O-B thing. So I guess I'll suck it up and go back! hee hee See you tomorrow - peace!

CA & F - Almost Done!

I am almost caught up with the Club Anya & Friends New Year's Day challenges! I have 2 more to make after I post this. Here is my entry for Cindy's It's All About Sparkle challenge - I used Hippie Anya and sparkled up her headband, flower/peace sign, necklace, and the sentiment is also covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I used turquoise colored gemstone brads. Cardstock colors are Apricot Appeal, Gable Green, and Tempting Turquoise:

Next up is Kim's Not the Norm challenge - the challenge being to use 2 colors that you would not normally use together. I went through my Stampin' Up! papers and decided that I don't use Not Quite Navy very often at all. Then I figured out that if I DID use this color, I would normally pair it with colors on the color wheel, such as Bashful Blue. So I picked a color that was not on the wheel to pair it with - So Saffron. I really like the way it came out - I used Skater Ian and used frame-type sketch:

Next is Randi's Mask-erade challenge - we had to simply use masking in our card. I masked the flowers and turned them into a border on the bottom of my Spa Anya "Pamper Yourself" card. Colors are Almost Amethyst and Certainly Celery:

Last, for now, is Mary's Black Tie Affair challenge. We had to use black and white and only one other color. We could use grays, as well, and hair/skin tones didn't count towards our colors. I decided to stick with a lot of gray - I used Ian from the "Dress Me" set - added some "bling" diamondy gemstone stickies to give it a fancy look and tried to make his "tuxedo" blingy, too - covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I used a piece of gray ribbon and punched an oval out of Bravo Burgundy cardstock to give the card a splash of color:

OK I'm off to finish up my last 2 cards for the challenges and will be back soon to share! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for a chance to win your own TGF digi image! Peace.

Club Anya & Friends New Year's Challenges, Post 2

Oh I am just having so much fun with these challenges!!! LOL OK so here is my entry for Kadie's Sew Satisfying challenge... please don't judge me too harshly, this was my first attempt EVER at sewing/stitching on a card! I decided to keep it simple and just stitch around the frame - I used Flapper Anya for this one:

Next is Kim's Shape Up challenge - I used a circle shape for the actual card and had a TON of fun with this one... decided to go with a Wizard of Oz theme, using Dorothy & Toto from the Signature set along with a witch from CC Designs Sugar Plums and a castle from a retired Stampin' Up! set called "Dreams & Dragons":
Next up is my card for Melyssa's Tag You're It! challenge -
And last, but definitely not least, is my FAVORITE card so far - this one is for Amy's Ad Inspired Challenge - here is the ad that we were to use as inspiration:And here is my card - I altered Skater Ian and '80's Anya to make... '80's Skater Anya! hee hee Isn't she so stinkin' cute?!?
I used Stampin' Up! Real Red, Green Galore, and Tempting Turquoise colors in cardstocks, inks, and ribbons - I had some sparkly red and white star brads in my stash, and I just love adding glittery eye shadow to my Anya's... LOL So what do you think? I am hoping to finish these challenges tonight and will be back tomorrow to share the results. Peace.

FINAL Sketch & first of Club Anya & Friends challenges!

I will most likely be posting several times today, as I am trying to catch up on the Club Anya and Friends New Year's Day challenges, and there was a new challenge posted every hour all day! So anyway - most importantly - I FINISHED THE 12 DAYS OF SKETCHES CHALLENGE at the The Greeting Farm! Here is my 12th and final card, using one of my fave TGF images, digi image Ebony:

Now my challenge is to complete the 12 hourly challenges from Club Anya & Friends yesterday - here is Pam's BLING IT UP BABY challenge card:

And here is my entry for Kelly's Flower Power Challenge:

Out of the 12 hourly challenges posted, I had originally planned to do them all but then saw that one of them is called "Sew Satisfying" and requires you to sew on your card... I was nervous about that and decided not to do it. But then I noticed they are also having a contest for anyone who enters ALL 12 challenges - so I can't possibly let a little stitching hold me back from possibly winning the entire January release, right? Even if I did buy almost everything yesterday? hee hee So I may try my hand at the stitching on my card, if I get brave!

I had also planned to do some shopping today and venture out into the world but alas, I woke up to see a few inches of white stuff coating the streets and my car and the flakes don't appear to be slowing down any! This girl doesn't drive in snow (yes, I have lived in New England my whole life - I HATE IT!) so I quickly decided to stay in my pj's and finish up my challenges today! :) Be back later! Peace.

2nd New Year's Day Post

First things first - I think I need a 12-step program for challenges. hee hee Here is my interpretation of the Embellish Magazine Color Challenge with Hearts:

The challenge was that you could only use the colors pink, red, and black - with white or vanilla/cream as neutrals. I tried to stick to the red, pink, black combo as much as possible, and threw the XOXOXO white rub-on in there to catch the eye. Whatchathink?

Next is my submission for the Sugar Bowl's Sketch Challenge this week - the "please include" option was to include something "new", which could be interpreted however you wanted. I decided to use all new stuff - a new image I had not yet colored, new papers, and my new PrismaColor colored pencils:

And last for today is my entry for Day 11 of the 12 Days of Sketches at the Greeting Farm, I am particularly fond of this sketch:

Now, if you are as addicted to challenges as I am, you have GOT to check out the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Club Anya & Friends Blog! Challenges have been posted every hour all day - I ran out of daylight to take decent pics, though, so you're going to have to wait until tomorrow to see my results! Have a great night! Peace.

Tuesday Morning Sketches & TGF Sketches for Days 9 & 10

I really liked the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week, I love the way it almost looks like a frame... and I just adore this digi image "Summer Fairy" by the Greeting Farm, isn't she gorgeous? Digi images are awesome cuz you can play with the proportions and make teeny-tiny images, standard size, or giant... the possibilities are endless as far as altering!

Next up is Anya from the Showtime set, I had been dying to make something with her... this is for the 12 Days of Sketches challenge, Day 9:

And Day 10, using digi image Ebony and Ian from the "Dress Me" set:

Happy New Year, everyone! I will be back later with Days 11 and 12 to be DONE and entered for a chance to win the entire TGF January release - WOO HOO!!! :) Wish me luck! Peace.

For the Anyone For Anya sketch challenge (#5) this week, I used Vivi digi image and made her into a birthday elf:
Colors are Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Garden Green, and Pumpkin Pie.

And for the Sweet Stop's sketch challenge, I made this card for one of my favorite cousins, who is turning 21 in January:
