31 Days of Halloween: Day 27 All About the Witches

Hi there- happy Sunday!  Before we get to the 31 Days stuff, I have to share some awesome news with you all.  My son Trev has enlisted in the Navy - he leaves for basic training on February 25.  I am SO stinkin' proud of him - he chose Culinary Specialist for his career, too, so I don't have to be as much of a nervous wreck as if he had chosen Special Ops (which he considered briefly).  Thanks for sharing in my joy!  :)
...............................................
Welcome to Day 27 of the 31 Days of Halloween!  You should have arrived here from Shoni's blog - if you need to go back and start at the beginning, the blog roll is posted over here on my sidebar-------------------------------->

I have 2 things to share with you today - my first creation is an ATC for the following challenges:

All Dressed Up Challenge: Halloween
Glitter n Sparkle: Add Some Black
Challenges 4 Everybody: Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar: Halloween

I used Magical Day from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, markers, and Stickles.  DP is from Authentique, ribbon is from SU!

And my next project is for my hostess spot at:

Sunday Postcard Art: Witches Brew

I would like to enter my postcard into the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mamas: Trick or Treat
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Halloween or Halloween Colors
Paper Crafting Journey: Anything Goes

I used Morgan the Witch from Stamp Insanity (no longer an active company, I don't think), colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  All of my DP and cardstock sticker embellishments are from Authentique.  The "Spells" book and broom are from my stash.

Your next stop on the hop is DominoART.  Have fun hopping!
Peace.

  1. Congratulations on your son making an important career choice. One thing I will suggest is that you connect with other navy mom groups.
I have a close friend whose son joined up a month ago and she is grateful for the support. No matter the cjhoice, moms will worry.
My son works with musicians and I think it is dangerous.

Very sweet images today. I like the happier, whimsical side to Halloween.

  22. So appreciate all those in the service. Happy for you all.
Each witch so well done. Love the hair on the first and the orange sparkly shoes on the second. Happy to see each has a cat, though the second cat does not look quite so happy! Great cards Jenn.
