JSL, ADFD, and The Cheerful Stamp Pad

Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh.  I have SO MUCH on my mind.  We're leaving in less than 2 weeks.  I'm so excited.  We're leaving in less than 2 weeks.  I'm gonna puke.  I'm working this week, so glad, something to keep me focused.  Then I have to start getting boxes and start packing.  I still have boxes in the back room that I never UNpacked - we always knew this was a temporary home.  But it's still weird.  Cass and I went to my mom's to have birthday cake for Cass yesterday, and while we were there we watched some videos from Cass's first birthday and my nephew Eric on Christmas morning when he was almost 3.  So stinkin' cute.  So many memories.  And we had a good time yesterday, and it made Cass start getting sad, thinking about leaving.  Then I started getting sad.  It's natural, I know, I mean geez - we'd have to be crazy not to be a little sad about moving 3000 miles away from our family... but the fact is that we can come home any time we want, and I just know the people who matter will end up visiting us.  I mean, come on, it's CALIFORNIA.  LOL  So I'm trying really hard to focus on all of the positive and stay excited.  I'm sure I'll be talking about this a lot over the next few weeks, so bear with me.  :)

OK so for today - first, it's my day to post at:

Just Some Lines

Check out the blog post for details!  :)

Next, I have a card for the:

I used this beautiful image called Braid in my Hair, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits, and added a white feather behind the image.  DP is from My Mind's Eye, button is from my stash.

Next - we have a new challenge for you at:

I used "Flo Tea Time" from Pollycraft Studio and the "Tea for Two" sentiment from Just Some Lines.  DP is from Stampin' Up!  Ribbon tags are from my scraps.  I spritzed the card with Spun Sugar Smooch Spritz to give it a "tea-stained" look, it doesn't show up as good in the pic unfortunately - you can see it a bit better on the strip of cardstock behind the sentiment.  Peace.

  3. Yeah, come ON, it's CALIFORNIA! WooHoo! I was a little sad 32 1/2 years ago, but I wouldn't leave here for ANYTHING! So excited for you and ME. LOL I'm still in awe how much you get done in the crafting arena, hon. Perhaps some will rub off on me when we finally meet. LOL Lovin' these, all of them, but I'm particularly fond of the paper pieced one. So fresh looking! xxD
