Happy 6th birthday to my little Lisey Beans today, Grammy's girl, my little buddy. We're having a big party for her this afternoon, and I cannot wait to make her feel special! She's funny, witty, kind, and smart as a whip. I'm such a lucky Grammy.

On to the artwork! I'm excited to be doing a guest DT spot today for the:
Girlz and the Art of Letters Challenge
Theme is C is For....
I went with Cats, Cake, and Celebrate!

I created my background by ink smooshing Distress Oxide Ink on watercolor paper, then I stamped the background stamp from Visible Image (Grunge Birthday Words) with a darker shade of blue and spritzed with water, then let dry. I printed out A Curious Cake from The Paper Shelter (no longer in business) and stamped the kitty from the Bake Me Happy set at Colorado Craft Company with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored both with Copics, adding glitter and Fluffy Stuff (also embossed) to the cake, then fussy cut and attached to the card. I added some Liquid Diamonds to the kitty's glasses and finished off with some rhinestone stickers.

I created my background by ink smooshing a light pink & light green oxide ink on watercolor paper. I then stamped the beautiful stained glass rose from Unity Stamp Co.'s Enchanted Petals with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with alcohol markers and added the sentiment strip, sponged with black ink. Peace.
