I am super excited to announce that my son proposed to his girlfriend around the holidays! They are looking to get married this Summer and I'm considering getting a one-day license so that I can officiate it. Good things happening in 2026, all good things. So, this is the engagement card that I made for them, and I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Creative Knockouts #562 - Celebrations
I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes/Optional Fairytale
I used the ink smooshing technique for the background, using Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I took the same color ink and applied it heavily to another piece of watercolor paper and then die cut the heart and the word LOVE from it. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background, then I stamped the girl (both from the In Your Future set from Pink & Main) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. I added some Liquid Diamond Glaze to the crystal ball for dimension. Peace.
