live in the moment

 Good morning! I do not like to clean - I like to organize, so everything usually "looks" clean, but I don't like to actually clean. LOL   Yesterday I spent hours cleaning and even though I hate getting started, it felt so good when I was done! I even pulled out the couches... yuck.  ROFL So today I get to have some fun and spend some time in my craft room!  :)  I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #313

My papers are from Recollections. I printed out the Flow Moon image from Mirtillamente and colored it with Copics. I fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape. I added a die cut leaf in the corner of the "pocket" and star brads in the corners of the card. Finished it off with some gemstone stickers. Peace.

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs. I used a digi from the Witches & Broomsticks bundle at Polkadoodles. I colored with Copics and used a square die cut, attached with foam dimensional squares. I used a die cut in the background, and a bat die cut as an embellishment. 10/31 sentiment is a sticker from SRM Stickers. Peace.

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs. I used a cute jack-o-lantern from the Witches & Broomsticks Bundle at Polkadoodles, colored with Copics. I used a stitched edge die to cut him out, and matted him on a postage frame die. Sentiment is a sticker from SRM Stickers. Peace.

happy birthday LIBRA

 Heyyyyy!  I just bought some new cardstock from Stampin' Up! SU! was what introduced me to card making, I will always have a special place in my heart for them!  I was actually a demonstrator for a few years and although I don't buy a lot of their products anymore, I think I'll always buy their cardstock. It's dyed all the way through and it's nice and thick, perfect for card bases. Anyway! I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

So I had JUST received my order that had these exact colors of cardstock in it - Timid Tiger, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry.  I used the Timid Tiger for the card base, the Crushed Curry for the die cut cover plate and the netting on the tag, and the Calypso Coral for the tag. I stamped the Libra image from Mama Elephant with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached to the tag with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the LIBRA directly on the tag and sponged the edges with black ink, then attached it with a black brad. Peace.

Color Dare #672

I used some constellation stamps I had in my stash for the background, using Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink for my inking. The focal point stamps are from the Floral & Stars Zodiac and the Horoscope sets from Unity Stamp Co., and I embossed those with clear embossing powder and used a stitched edge rectangle die to cut it out. I matted the whole thing on a navy blue cardstock base. Peace.

I created my card with stamps from the Wicked Anya 2 set from The Greeting Farm. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached it all with foam dimensional tape. The shelf is a stamp/die cut from Lawn Fawn. Papers are from My Mind's Eye. Peace.

 Hello all!  I'm excited to share one of the new stencils from the October release at A Colorful Life Designs!  Remember you can always use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the store!

This stencil is called Star Dots - I actually used a reverse stencil technique with the blue ink and then applied the bright yellow through the same stencil traditionally. I stamped out the sweet girl from MFT, colored her with Copics and a gel pen, fussy cut and attached her with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background.

 Good morning! I love Halloween so much and making Halloween projects is definitely my favorite crafting genre! So I created a tag/bookmark and a card for today. My papers are from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1 set at Polkadoodles - printable papers make it so easy to resize and use for paper piecing, etc. I printed the witch and dracula from the Hocus Pocus Witches Halloween set, colored them with Copics and fussy cut. I used some banner dies on the card and also to create my bookmark/tag. The sentiments are from the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings set.

I blended orange oxide ink on a piece of watercolor paper and then applied permanent black ink through a Tim Holtz stencil and around the edges. I printed out my image from Sweet November Stamps, colored with Copics and attached with foam dimensional tape. I added a little "fly" sticker from a Tim Holtz sticker book.

I used the ink smooshing technique for the background - I love how one color can create such different shades using this technique. I'm pretty sure it was Stormy Sky that I used for the background - then I used Chipped Sapphire to stamp the butterfly & sentiment, and embossed with clear embossing powder. Added a few gemstone stickers to finish it off. Peace.

I created my background with alcohol inks on Yupo paper, using my air blower thingy - so technical, I know, try to keep up. ;) LOL  I ink blended orange, green, and purple inks on a piece of watercolor paper and die cut the spider web from it, then die cut some spiders and attached those. I stamped Tiny Townie Wanda the Witch and Her Cauldron from Stamping Bella with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Bright & Colorful

So simple for this one - used an ink blending brush to apply some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to a watercolor cardstock base. I attached a die cut potion bottle (Doodlebug Designs DP) with a foam dot to a piece of brown cardstock and attached a little sticker sentiment to it.  I then put another sticker sentiment in the bottom corner. Peace.

I used some fun designer papers and used a scallop die on 3 different papers, then layered the die cuts. I used a spider & a web die cut as embellies and added a sticker sentiment to the corner. This is one of my favorite stamps (retired) from CC Designs - I stamped her with Versafine Black and colored her with Copics and a white gel pen. I fussy cut her and attached her with foam dimensional tape.

I created my background by blending Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink on a piece of watercolor paper and smooshing it just a bit with some water. I just LOVE my Ink Road Stamps, they are so much fun and so unique! I stamped the heart-shaped cannabis leaves and the sentiment on the background and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I printed out the cannabis smoking girl digi from Oddball Art, colored her with Copics & Fun Flock and fussy cut her. I used 2 stitched edge die cut rectangles to create a frame, added a tiny die cut cannabis leaf in the corner, sponged it with black ink and attached it all with foam dimensional tape. I finished it off with purple eyelets in the corners. Peace.

I used a lighter color yellow for the background piece, then splattered the leftover rust-colored pigment all over it.

I stamped this cute dragon from Simon Says Stamp Happy Hauntings with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and used some Diamond Glaze on the balloon. I used a deckled edge rectangle die to cut him out and mount on the DP (Echo Park). Peace.
