My Sailor & JSL Final Week: Spring Challenge

Good morning! Here is a picture of me and my new Sailor from yesterday... don't mind the tears of pride on my face.  :)

Yes, he's that tall.  hee hee  What an amazing day - the poor kid had been awake for 30 hours at this point.  He had to go take care of some paperwork, so we picked him up a few hours later and took him out for a steak dinner before bringing him back for a well-deserved good night's sleep.  We get to spend today and tomorrow with him, as he's on "liberty" for the weekend.  Then I have to leave him and head home Monday - I know I'll be crying, but it's just for me.  He's doing awesome and loving all of this, so I'm thrilled for him.  I'm just gonna miss him so much.

We're on our last week of our current monthly challenge at:

Check it out and join us for a chance to win 4 images of choice from the JSL shop.  Peace.

100 Happy Days (up to Day 16) :)

Good morning - I decided to play along with this thing called 100 Happy Days.  You can read about it here, but the point is to take a picture of something that makes you happy every day for 100 days and to post it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.  I wanted to share a few of these things with you - I'm up to Day 16 so far. Here are a few things that make me happy:

Doing this really does make you realize that you have something to be happy about every day.  I am having fun with it and really hope to get all the way up to 100.  I did give myself permission to skip days and pick back up where I left off - after all, this is supposed to make us feel GOOD, not stressed.  LOL
OK - go be happy!  Peace.

JSL Week 2: Think Spring

Hey friends - happy Saturday!  I went to a comedy hypnotist show last night and it was just one of the funniest and most enjoyable shows I've gone to!  The guy's name is Dan Candell and you can see his website here.  I gotta tell you, I always thought I was the type who could not get hypnotized but he did a little mini-hypnosis on the entire audience at the beginning of the show and proved me wrong.  He basically had us put our hands together and hold our index fingers out and then said that our fingers would start to move toward each other.  Well, I could NOT stop my fingers from moving towards each other.  It just happened.  It was so weird.  The rest of the show was just awesome - the people who volunteered were great and I give them a lot of credit for their courage!  LOL  I highly recommend going to see this show if you get a chance!

Today I have a card for our 2nd week of April's challenge at:
