A Beautiful Soul

Hello there!  Today I'm heading to a memorial service, a very good friend of mine lost his younger brother a few weeks ago.  These things always make me want to tell the people I love how much they mean to me.  I encourage you all to do the same.

This card was actually made for a friend of mine at work, Ruthie, who lost her dad suddenly. He loved Hawaii and had a place there, so I used that theme for the card I made for Ruthie.  I always try to focus on the good, the happy memories and the things that make us smile when we think about someone we've lost.  Here's the card:

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

The image is from Make it Crafty, and I colored it with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. I added Stickles glitter to the seashells and glued 3 real seashells onto the corner.  Papers are from My Mind's Eye. Peace.

  4. This is beautiful, both the design of the card and your thought process behind it.
The colours are great, the mixed media aspect of making it a touchy feely card is great, I really like the sentiment too. Thanks for joining us this time at Simply Papercraft :)
