Mushroom Fairy

Hello everyone!  Just talked to my mom and she's got surgery scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon to clean out her infection.  She sounded in good spirits, but she would never let me hear her sound any other way.  She also said how bad her arm hurts - and then went on to tell me that she got up at 5:00 a.m. and vacuumed the house, did laundry, and made a Shepherd's Pie for my dad & brother for dinner.  *sigh*  The woman just does NOT know how to take it easy!  Man, I wish I was there to help.  I've been texting Jeremy's dad, too, as he cannot speak above a whisper (radiation to the throat for cancer) so I'm really thankful for the technology that allows us to stay in touch even when he cannot really speak.  He is trying to stay positive, too - I really wish we could visit him and give him a hug.

Today I have a card for the:

and

I used Cute Fairy Toadstool & Cute Fairy 4 from Digi Stamp Boutique, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her wings and shoes.  DP is from My Mind's Eye - I attached the little ladybug to a button and then used a glue dot to attach the button.  Peace.

  3. Hi Jenn your card is totally adorable. I love this image and your design papers and colours are perfect. I adore Toadstool images and this one is very cute. Your embellishments are just so perfect for your card. I have a DT card made for a few weeks time that has that same Ladybug LOL. Take care and chin up with everything that's going on in your life with your family. Great card and thanks so much for sharing it with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.
