We're All Mad Here

I woke up in a big old funk Monday morning.  I absolutely hate feeling like that, and I wrote something about it on Facebook.  By the end of the day, I was feeling so much better thanks to chats with 2 of my good crafty friends (Alison & Glo - love you girls!), my sister, and my mom.  Sometimes there is no real resolution to our problems or the things that are bothering us, but it always helps to know that people care, and that they understand.

So Monday afternoon, I decided to book an appointment for a facial.  Last Summer I went to this heavenly spa that I raved so much about, my mother-in-law bought me a gift certificate for my birthday!  I had been holding on to it for when I "needed" it, and decided that this was the time.  It's called Bliss Organic Day Spa and it's in Sebastopol, CA.  You can find their website here.  So I booked a 90-minute anti-aging facial for Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. and it was just absolutely divine.  When I was done, I decided to take the rest of the day off from cleaning, crafting, and anything else that I normally feel "has to" be done.  I sat out in the sun for an hour and then I read for a little while - it was exactly what I needed.  Of course, by the late afternoon I was starting to make lists in my head of everything that needs to be done - hee hee.

So - today we have a new challenge for you at:

I am also entering my ATC into the following challenges:

and

I used "We're All Mad Here Chessie" from our sponsor at WW, Rick St. Dennis, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I added some Stardust Stickles to his teeth and eyes.  For the background, I used a white piece of cardboard and spritzed it with Purple Glimmer Mist and Silver Foil Smooch Spritz, then used a clock stencil on the corner.  I rubbed the edges in Embossing Ink and melted black embossing powder on them.  I also stamped some stars and used gold embossing powder on them.
Peace.
