Art With no Boundaries, Do You Stack Up, Just Some Lines

I'm just sitting here watching the slightest snowfall outside my window.  This is my kind of snow - very few flakes falling softly and slowly, barely accumulating as they land on the ground.  I can't wait to live in California and only see this kind of snow for the rest of my life.  We've been doing a lot of talking and planning, and we're at a point now where we just want to go.  All of us, even Cassidy.  We have a lot to think about and a lot to do, but we're thinking it's either going to be this Summer or next.  And we're shooting for this one.  Most of our local friends and family don't know yet, we've been talking about it for so long and so many things have happened in our lives in the meantime that we don't want to jinx it or get anyone anxious (parents, siblings, etc.) unnecessarily.  But we're beyond ready.  All of our dreams are in California and you only live once, so we're going to chase them.  I'll keep you posted, because I'll need to take a short hiatus from crafting while we transition - that's going to be the hardest part for me!  LOL

I have a couple of things to share with you today, starting with some of the newer images from the oh-so-talented Chris Stern at CS Designs. You can see these, and some other gorgeous DT work, on our challenge blog's latest post:

I would like to enter this card into the:

I used Plie, Diamond Dot Mini background, and Deco Heart 1 (all from CS Designs) for this card - I wish you could see the dimension on this card.  I used foam pop-up dots to adhere the doll image, and then applied the heart hanging over the edge of the square.  I added a button and some ribbon pieces to finish it off.

This tag was so fun to make - I used Plie and The Art of Dancing from CS Designs, colored with SU! markers in Pale Plum and Perfect Plum.  I added some plum-colored pearl stickers and dragged the sentiment through the Pale Plum ink pad.  The DP is from Donna Salazar.  Cardstock and ribbon are from SU!

And today is my day to post over at the:

I used one of our newer images, Emo Romantic 1, for my pretty card.  The cardstock and DP are from the Sale-A-Bration catalog at Stampin' Up!  They are so yummy, I just love them.  I colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and Prismacolor markers.  I thought the pearl stickers and white taffeta ribbon were the perfect touch for this card.

Off to work now - have a great day everyone!  Peace.
