Star's Birthday Challenge & Digi Stamp Boutique

One of the things I love best about crafting is the fact that I meet so many wonderful, friendly people in this little blogosphere!  LOL  One of those wonderful people is Starla, AKA Star (what a beautiful name, huh?), who had a birthday last week and celebrated the first anniversary of her blog, so she decided to have a little blog-hop celebration, complete with challenge.  I love me some challenges, so I had to play along.  This is for the:

You Could Be Wishing on a Star - Fairy Challenge

Isn't Star's blog name adorable?  She's such a clever girl, and a complete sweetheart.  So anyway - here's what I came up with for her fairy challenge:

I used Mistletoe Fairy from Just Some Lines, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.  DP and buttons are from my stash - cardstock and rub-on sentiments are from Stampin' Up!  I spritzed the paper with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz to give it some sparkle.

Digi Stamp Boutique Customer Competition - Anything Goes

I used the adorable Rudi Reindeer with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.  The DP is from My Mind's Eye - I was so excited to pick up a bunch of these paper pads for roughly $2.25 each - AND I had a coupon for $10 off if I spent $25 so I got a bunch of them.  SCORE!  :)
