Happy Veteran's Day and Altered Box

First, I want to say happy Veteran's Day - to any/all past and current members of our military, you and your families have my utmost appreciation, gratitude and respect for all that you do. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I had so much fun making the altered Christmas goodie box for a challenge, I decided to make another one. For this one, I used some retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series paper in one of the old "In Colors", and one of the Greeting Farm's adorable digi images, Ebony, which was offered for a limited time last weekend, and gave it a "teen" theme:

My poor daughter Cassidy has been sick since last Friday - I guess it's seasonal flu or a bad cold, the doctor's offices are actually requesting that people with those symptoms NOT come into their offices so as not to spread their germs. So Cass has been home, pretty much in bed, since last Friday. She's taking ibuprofen and those thera-flu drink mixes and taking it easy, poor kid. She's 14, so she's devastated to be missing out on her social life - she doesn't mind missing school for a week, but we've got another weekend coming up here, she'll be heart-broken if she is still sick on Friday! LOL

Hope you're all having a good week! Peace.

  1. Awww poor Cassidy!! I hope she feels better ASAP! I am surprised the Dr didn't want to test for the swine flu though.

    LOVE the box!!
